We’ve found an old photo of our place from around 2000-1 (it was the night after our ‘field-warming’ party, before we got the mobile home.

The mountain was quite cleary visible then but only 7 years later and the trees have been acting like triffids as we no view of the mountain at all. You can see from the thinning photos from this week how big these suckers, I mean, spruce have got.

Really, it goes to prove what I’ve read and heard over the years, that Ireland does have some of best tree growing conditions in Ireland
