On the 17 july I gave a very general talk about my art practice as it has developed over the last decade or more. The audience at the Red Stables first art & ecology summer school was very broad, including people with a general interest in the arts to those who have a significant arts & ecology practice, cultural geographers, botanists, local authority arts staff and others interested in Dublin’s St Anne’s park, where the Red Stables art centre is located.
The event was supported by the Dublin arts office and they have created a valuable legacy as they filmed all the presentations. My presentation is above, others will be available on the Red Stables website soon.
You are doing a fantastic job and i see a clear connection between your work and what we do or better try to do at Clegyr Boia. The fields we work on come from mono-culture, the steps to take from mono to multi (biodiversity) through art. The learning curves that each step shows.
It can be at times confronting to see nature as the art and not art of nature.
