Are you an artist, botanist, gardener, horticulturist or interested member of the public? Would you like to take part in a discussion on art and ecology?
I’ve been asked recently to join this seminar and talk about my work on forests and films. All are very welcome. I believe my screenreel of films may also be on display, amongst other film works by Grace Weir, David Nash, Andy Goldsworthy.
The talk will take place on Tuesday 17th July from 4pm – 6pm at The Red Stables.
This discussion will explore the different approaches to working with nature, and how artists and botanists engage with each other on art and environment projects. Do you have a project or research you are currently working on or have completed that you would like to share? If you would like to take part please contact: 01 222 7377 or email red.stables@dublincity.ie
Invited participants:
Maryann Harris: Senior Executive Parks Superintendent, Dublin City Council, Dr. Declan Doogue: Botanist and Hon. Vice President of The Dublin Naturalists Field Club, Seoídin O’ Sullivan: Artist, Christine Mackey: Artist and Cathy Fitzgerald: Artist
